AfterTaxHQ ("we", "us") provides free, in-browser paycheck calculators. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this site, and the choices you have.

The numbers you enter stay in your browser

Every calculator on this site runs entirely client-side. The salary, filing status, and other figures you enter into a calculator are never sent to our servers — we don't collect, store, or see them.

Analytics: Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they find useful. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect:

• Pages viewed and time spent on them
• Approximate location, derived from your IP address (typically city or region level)
• Device, browser, and operating system type
• Referring site or search terms that brought you here

This data is aggregated usage data — it is not tied to your name, email, or any calculator inputs. Google's own use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choice: the cookie banner

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you'd like to allow analytics cookies. Analytics cookies and the Google Analytics script are only loaded if you click "Accept." If you click "Decline," no analytics script ever loads and no analytics cookies are set. Either way, your choice is remembered in a cookie so the banner won't reappear on later visits. To change your mind, clear your cookies for this site — the banner will show again.

Other services we use

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may log standard web-server request data (such as IP address and request timestamps) for security and performance purposes, independent of the analytics cookies described above.

If you contact us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you send us. We use it only to respond to you and don't share it with third parties.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
